Student Advisory Council
The Law Library Student Advisory Council was started in Spring 2011 to give law students a formal voice in library decisions. The Advisory Council meets twice a semester to discuss ideas for upcoming events and trainings, problems in the library, and suggestions for ways we can make your life as a law student a bit easier.
These are just a few of the recent ideas we’ve implemented based on feedback from the Advisory Council: adding a hot water dispenser, putting pictures of “stress animals” on the digital screen during finals, offering tea as well as coffee at library events, and designating a section of the library as a quiet floor.
