Tyisha Anthony (B.S. ’16), assistant to law registrar, is responsible for managing the administrative operations for the College of Law Office of the Registrar. She assists the associate registrar with reports, scheduling and student academic assessments. Anthony supports the student body through credit evaluation, registration, graduation auditing, bar certification and records management. She also works with faculty and staff to verify records, proctor exams and manages the grade entry system. Anthony joined the college in 2015 as a student assistant in the Career Services Office.
Prior to joining the College of Law, Anthony worked in sales and customer service for Comcast-NBC Universal. In addition, her background includes interning with the Georgia Public Defender Council, as a transportation specialist, where she handled accounts in excess of $750,000.
She is most proud of her accomplishments as an agency and community partnership specialist, with Hands on Miami. In this position, Anthony discovered her passion for giving back to the community and working with students. She managed many large scale projects including Service Juris Day, for the legal community, and a playground build with The Home Depot, Kaboom!, Joe Gibbs Racing and the city of Sweetwater.
Anthony graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies.
She also holds a A.S. degree, cum laude in homeland security and emergency management and a cum laude A.S. degree in paralegal studies from Georgia Military College.
