Student Advisory Council
The Law Library Student Advisory Council was started in Spring 2011 to give law students a formal voice in library decisions. The Advisory Council meets twice a semester to discuss ideas for upcoming events and trainings, problems in the library, and suggestions for ways we can make your life as a law student a bit easier.
These are just a few of the recent ideas we’ve implemented based on feedback from the Advisory Council: adding a hot water dispenser, putting pictures of “stress animals” on the digital screen during finals, offering tea as well as coffee at Library Abridged, and designating the upper level of the library as a Quiet Zone.
