Connect On-Campus

Georgia State University Students, Faculty, and Staff

Students, faculty, and staff can access the Law Library’s Legal Databases while in the Law Library by connecting to Georgia State University’s wireless network, “CatChat2x.” Students, faculty, and staff in the Law Library can connect to CatChat2x using their Campus ID & password. For a more secure connection, members of the GSU Community can also connect using the Virtual Private Network.

For more information, maps of wireless access locations on campus, and general help with CatChat2x, please visit the university wireless support site.

Alumni & Visitors

The Law Library does not provide wireless access for alumni and visitors.  Researchers wishing to use their laptops to access the Law Library’s Legal Databases by bringing an Ethernet cable and plugging in at one of the Law Library’s wired study carrels. As an alternative, the Law Library does provide researchers with four public computing stations for accessing the Law Library’s Legal Databases .
